A highly manoeuvrable, inter-stackable, light weight skate that enables the user to pack crates without ever having to lift one. An empty crate is placed on the skate and packed. Once full, another crate is placed on top and – again – packed. This continues until three crates have been filled. The stack can then be stored and wheeled onto the truck on moving day. At the destination, the process is reversed. This system reduces time and labour costs and prevents injury to your employees’ due to heavy lifting. Alternatively, crates can be removed – one by one – from the skate at the storage area for further handling by a removalist. The skate can then be re-used by staff to pack more crates.
Our Crate Skate comes with non-marking 4-inch rubber casters with a double ball bearing swivel raceway. This allows for easy navigation and high manoeuvrability. The integrated slide on the short side of the skates allows your removalist or yourself to easily slide a stack of packed or empty crates onto the skate.
